Katy Works to Dive

When it comes to having fun, Katy loves nothing better than plunging hundreds of feet into 40º ocean waters to photograph exotic sea creatures. She has captured pygmy seahorses, rare nudibranchs, hammerhead sharks and eagle rays in their natural habitats from the Channel Islands and British Columbia to Sulawesi Indonesia and the Cocos Islands. She rarely goes anywhere twice, and plans to keep diving four times a year. Katy believes that balance is everything, so she tries to take Thursday’s and one weekend off every month.
